Turn! Turn!'
[Dr. Byrds and Mr. Hyde](69), [Ballad of an Easy Rider](69)를 발표한다.

올타임 레전드 밴드에 대한 글 치고는 치졸하기 그지없다. 굳이 얼터너티브 밴드와의 연관성을 내세울 필요가 있을까 ㅡ/ㅡ; 그래서 얼터팬들한테 들어보라구 유혹하는건가 ;;
Mr. Tambourine Man (Bob Dylan)
Hey! Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song for me,
I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going to.
Hey! Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song for me,
In the jingle jangle morning I'll come followin' you.
Though I know that evenin's empire has returned into sand,
Vanished from my hand,
Left me blindly here to stand but still not sleeping.
My weariness amazes me, I'm branded on my feet,
I have no one to meet
And the ancient empty street's too dead for dreaming.
Take me on a trip upon your magic swirlin' ship,
My senses have been stripped, my hands can't feel to grip,
My toes too numb to step, wait only for my boot heels
To be wanderin'.
I'm ready to go anywhere, I'm ready for to fade
Into my own parade, cast your dancing spell my way,
I promise to go under it.
Though you might hear laughin', spinnin', swingin' madly across the sun,
It's not aimed at anyone, it's just escapin' on the run
And but for the sky there are no fences facin'.
And if you hear vague traces of skippin' reels of rhyme
To your tambourine in time, it's just a ragged clown behind,
I wouldn't pay it any mind, it's just a shadow you're
Seein' that he's chasing.
Then take me disappearin' through the smoke rings of my mind,
Down the foggy ruins of time, far past the frozen leaves,
The haunted, frightened trees, out to the windy beach,
Far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow.
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free,
Silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands,
With all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves,
Let me forget about today until tomorrow.
I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better (Gene Clark)
The reason why I can't say
Gotta let you go babe and right away
After what you did I can't stay on
And I'll probably feel a whole lot better when you're gone
Baby for a long time you had me believe
You said your love was all mine and that's the way it would be
I didn't know that you were putting me on
And I'll probably feel a whole lot better when you're gone
Oh when you're gone
I got to say that it's not like before
And I'm not gonna play your game anymore
After what you did I can't stay on
And I'll probably feel a whole lot better when you're gone
Oh when you're gone
Oh when you're gone
Oh when you're gone*
Spanish Harlem Incident (Bob Dylan)
Gypsy gal, the hands of Harlem
Cannot hold you to its heat.
Your temperature's too hot for taming,
Your flaming feet are burning up the street.
I am homeless, come and take me
Into reach of your rattling drums.
I gotta know, babe, about my fortune
Down along my restless paths.
Gypsy gal, you got me swallowed.
I have fallen far beneath
Your pearly eyes, so fast an' slashing,
An' your flashing diamond teeth.
The night is pitch black, come an' make my
Pale face fit into place, ah, please!
I gotta know, babe, I'm nearly drowning
Take me to my lifelines trace.
I been wond'rin' all about me
Ever since I seen you there.
On the cliffs of your wildcat charms I'm riding,
I know I'm 'round you but I don't know where.
You have slayed me, you have made me,
I got to laugh at this off my heel.
I got to know, babe, will you surround me
So I can know if I'm really real.
You Won't Have To Cry (McGuinn/Clark)
Oh you know it makes me sad to see you feel so bad
But it's happened to you many times before
But if you will come with me then girl you will see
That you won't have to cry anymore
There's no reason to feel blue because of what he says to you
And I wouldn't want to see you hurt no more
I could never do you wrong 'cause my love for you's too strong
And you won't have to cry anymore
Oh I saw you there with tears in your eyes
Because he told you so many many lies
Oh you know it isn't right to put yourself up tight
By thinking 'bout the things he's done before
Just trust the love in me
And girl you will see
That you won't have to cry
No you won't have to cry
No you won't have to cry anymore
Here Without You (Clark)
Daytime just makes me feel lonely
At night I can only dream about you
Girl you're on my mind nearly all of the time
It's so hard being here without you
Words in my head keep repeating things that you said
Wen I was with you
And I wonder is it true do you feel the same way too
It's so hard being here without you, being here without you
Though I know it won't last I'll see you some day
It seems as though that the day will come never
But there's one thing I'll swear though you're far away
I'll be thinking about you forever
The streets that I walk on depress me
The ones that were happy when I was with you
Still with all the friends I know and with all the things I do
It's so hard being here without you being here without you
The Bells Of Rhymney (Seeger/Davies)
Oh what will you give me say the sad bells of Rhymney
Is there hope for the future say the brown bells of Merthyr
Who made the mine owner say the black bells of Rhonda
And who killed the miner say the grim bells of Blaina
Throw the vandels in court say the bells of Newport
All would be well if if if if cry the green bells of Cardiff
Why so worried sisters why sang the silver bells of Wye
And what will you give me say the sad bells of Rhymney
Oh what will you give me say the sad bells of Rhymney
Is there hope for the future say the brown bells of Merthyr
Who made the mine owner say the black bells of Rhonda
And who killed the miner say the grim bells of Blaina
All I Really Want to Do (Dylan)
I ain't lookin' to compete with you,
Beat or cheat or mistreat you,
Simplify you, classify you,
Deny, defy or crucify you.
All I really want to do
Is, baby, be friends with you.
No, and I ain't lookin' to fight with you,
Frighten you or tighten you,
Drag you down or bring you down,
Chain you down or bring you down.
All I really want to do
Is, baby, be friends with you.
I ain't lookin' to block you up
Shock or knock or lock you up,
Analyze you, categorize you,
Finalize you or advertise you.
All I really want to do
Is, baby, be friends with you.
I don't want to fake you out,
Take or shake or forsake you out,
I ain't lookin' for you to feel like me,
See like me or be like me.
I don't want to meet your kin,
Make you spin or do you in,
Or select you or dissect you,
Or inspect you or reject you.
All I really want to do
Is, baby, be friends with you.
I Knew I'd Want You (Clark)
I'd like to love you with all of my heart
You've had me on your trip right from the start
And when you looked at me with love in your eyes
I knew I'd want you, oh yeah.
I'd like to hold you if you want me to
I've found somethin' new girl just by lookin' at you
And it's in your smile and it's in the way
I Knew I'd want you, oh yeah
I meet so many people
I feel I don't know
But I felt so close to you
When you said hello
I'd like to love you and together we'd find
The place we've been looking for where we'd have peace of mind
And there we'll be happy and there I'll know why
I knew I'd want you, oh yeah, oh yeah
It's No Use (Jim McGuinn/Gene Clark)
It's no use use saying your gonna stay if you don't want to be all mine
I haven't got room for somebody who's gonna hurt me all the time
Somebody who couldn't see all the love I was trying to give
It's no use saying your gonna stay if you don't want our love to live
It's no use keeping you around if you don't want me all the way
There's somebody new who can found and I'll find her someday
And she will be everything all the love she has she'll want to give
It's no use saying your gonna stay if you don't want our love to live
Oh I should be good to you but I can't cause
I was really true to you but you only hurt me more
It's no use use saying your gonna stay if you don't want to be all mine
I haven't got room for somebody who's gonna hurt me all the time
Somebody who couldn't see all the love I was trying to give
It's no use saying your gonna stay if you don't want our love to live
Don't Doubt Yourself, Babe (Jackie DeShannon)
Don't doubt yourself, babe
Let you feet stand up your beliefs, babe
I know what's running through your mind
Think you ought to capture time
Make love, walk the straight and narrow, aah aah
Don't doubt yourself, gal
Let's what's inside be your guide, you know darn well
For all the wrong that's been done to you it's making you prettier
so don't be blue
Life your living what you've been through, you`re lucky, aah
Don't doubt yourself when
Daylight fades and darkness begins
It's only come to show you that you're the one
who knows where it's at
the rest; who think they've got it pat, know nothing, aah
Don't doubt yourself cause
at the end of your words no one applaudes
The truth is proven to be found
Hard to take the first time around
So don't you worry, it's gonna be alright, aah, aah
Chimes of Freedom (Bob Dylan)
Far between sundown's finish an' midnight's broken toll
We ducked inside the doorway, thunder crashing
As majestic bells of bolts struck shadows in the sounds
Seeming to be the chimes of freedom flashing
Flashing for the warriors whose strength is not to fight
Flashing for the refugees on the unarmed road of flight
An' for each an' ev'ry underdog soldier in the night
An' we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing.
Even though a cloud's white curtain in a far-off corner flashed
An' the hypnotic splatter of mist was slowly lifting
Electric light still struck like arrows, fired but for the ones
Condemned to drift or else be kept from drifting
Tolling for the searching ones, on their speechless, seeking trail
For the lonesome-hearted lovers with too personal a tale
An' for each unharmful, gentle soul misplaced inside a jail
An' we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing.
Starry-eyed an' laughing as I recall when we were caught
Trapped by no track of hours for they hanged suspended
As we listened one last time an' we watched with one last look
Spellbound an' swallowed 'til the tolling ended
Tolling for the aching ones whose wounds cannot be nursed
For the countless confused, accused, misused, strung-out ones an' worse
An' for every hung-up person in the whole wide universe
An' we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing.
We'll Meet Again ( R.Parker/H.Charles)
We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day
Keep smiling through just like you always do
Till the blue skies make the dark clouds fade away
Some sunny day, some sunny day, some sunny day
